Chapter Two: Meeting Prince Charming

Not only is November 3rd, the anniversary of Tom's Music Place, but it is mine and Mark's anniversary.

Before working for Tower Records, I was a frequent customer. One day while shopping I was walking past a room called the Classical Room, and noticed the most beautiful man in the world, and I stopped to look at him. I knew I fell in love that instant. After a few minutes I moved on to buy my purchases and left. But once home, I couldn't get this person off my mind, so I went back. And I kept going back for over a month. He never saw me and never knew I existed.

Then one time when I went back, one of the employees approached me and said they were hiring, would I be interested in applying. I said yes on the spot. One, because I love music and wanted the job, secondly, I thought I would get to meet this person I had been stalking. I did get hired and on my first day on the job, I went looking for him, and I found out later, I was hired to replace him, he had quit. My heart sank to the floor.

Thinking I lost my chance, I moved on and started learning my job. Three months later, me and a couple co-workers went to a concert, The Psychedelic Furs and The Bangles. While there, Tammy, my best-friend at the time, who was my manager at Tower Records, noticed a man she wanted me to meet, and called him over, and as he started walking towards us, I realized it was that guy I fell in love with. My heart again sank to the floor.

Inside my brain was fireworks, but outside trying to act calm. This was the first time he has laid eyes on me, but my eyes have grown to know him quite well. The good news was we became friends that night. I found out his name was Mark. And the better news was great things were to come of this
